User Manuals
Our user manuals will cover all features of your software, and
include user-friendly, step-by-step instructions. The manual will include easy
indexing to aid the user in finding any feature quickly, and screen captures
from the software will be employed extensively for each feature in order to
illustrate clearly what the user will see on screen when procedures have been
followed correctly. The manual will also include relevant software- and
procedure-related definitions and terminology designed to assist the user in
understanding all elements of the software.
Explanations of procedures will be concept-based and accompanied
by easy-to-follow instructions. The layout of the manual will be professionally
designed to be aesthetically appealing, and the content will be understandable
at all user levels. The manual will be augmented by relevant illustrations,
keyboard and mouse shortcuts, and user tips and tricks. Where requested by the
client, we are also able to incorporate procedures from the business process
into the user’s manual.
Fully Integrated Online Help Systems
Our online help systems are fully functional and compatible with a variety of
platforms, and can be formatted to
WinHelp, HTML, Compiled HTML, or Java Help. The online help
systems we create for you will be mapped to your software to create context-sensitive help screens. Where requested by the client, we are
also able to incorporate procedures from the business process into the help
system, as well as an online FAQ option.
Training Manuals
Our training manuals are developed for hands-on training
courses, and are identical in format and style to our user’s manual, but
include only those features of your software that are relevant for a given
business unit (such as a particular department). Depending on the request of the
client, the training manuals can include both an Instructor Manual and a Participant Manual
that are professionally designed, easy to follow, and aesthetically appealing.
Both of these manuals include relevant exercises (instructor-led and self-paced)
that provide opportunities for hands-on practice by students. The manuals are
concept-based and focus both on the business process as well as the step-by-step
software procedures. They include extensive "procedures" sections that
document all key-stroke/mouse-stroke sequences, and that will act as a
quick-reference guide for students after class. The Instructor Manual is
identical to the Participant Manual, except that the Instructor Manual
contains instructor notes, training suggestions, and instructor-led exercises
that will aid the classroom trainer in teaching the course. All courses are
written using accelerated learning techniques and whole-brain learning methods,
and are intended to accommodate adult learning styles.
